Following detox diets have an extremely positive effect on our health and well-being. Accurate combinations of ingredients helps not only reduce toxins in our organism but also helps to reduce weight, protects against bacterias and viruses and gives positive energy.
We share some of our favorite orange and beetroot salat with enormous amount of minerals like magnesium, potassium, iron, choline, calcium, copper, pyridoxine, folate and vitamins A, B1, B9, C, K.
Ingredients ( portion for one person ):
1 blood orange
1 medium pomelo
1/4 medium beetroot, tops trimmed
2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 tablespoon grapes balsamic vinegar
1/4 red onion, very thinly sliced
1/4 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro and/or chervil leaves
Good-quality extra-virgin olive, pumpkin seed, or walnut oil (for drizzling)
Coarse sea salt, such as fleur de sel or Maldon sea salt
freshly ground black pepper.
*Note: Carefully slice veggies as thin as you can with a knife.
Add all mixed to a large bowl.
Dressing : mix lemon, lime juices and grapes balsamic vinegar, add sea salt and black pepper.
Add dressing to bow, mix and and sprinkle with fresh coriander.
